You just need to remember that everything happens for a reason. If she/he was really your friend they wouldn't bail on u like that. It wasmnt ur fault, its okay. With time they'll learn to forgive you, I speak from experience.

I've been through a similar situation. The answer is to try to go around that block in the road and try to move on. If you keep on doing that then you'll have mental health problems and suicidal thoughts. I hope that helped. Sincerely,

Just know that you did everything that you could do and that its not your fault for what happened.You couldn't do anything to help it and remember that she wouldn't have wanted you to blame yourself for what happened
